The Shift Leader / Shift Manager role is a hands-on leadership position and the primary development path to becoming an Assistant Manager or General Manager at Marco's Pizza. This is where future leaders are built.

Shift Leaders are responsible for Product, Service, and Image — the cornerstones of Marco's Pizza. You lead the team during your shift, set the pace, and ensure every Guest receives a 5-Star experience.

We intentionally develop our Shift Managers through coaching, training, and mentorship so they gain real leadership skills, confidence, and pride in their work.

• Lead and supervise crew members during day or night shifts
• Open and close the restaurant and manage shift transitions
• Coach, motivate, and train team members on the floor
• Ensure high-quality food, fast service, and order accuracy
• Work all stations (makeline, ovens, cut table, prep, guest service)
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and brand standards
• Coordinate with drivers and managers to ensure efficient deliveries
• Recognize and address product or supplier quality issues
• Operate equipment safely and in compliance with labor laws
• Lead by example and support a positive, team-first culture

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment

Preferred (Not Required):

• Previous restaurant or shift leadership experience
• ServSafe Certification

• Strong sense of accountability and urgency
• Positive, confident leadership presence
• Ability to coach and motivate others
• Pride in cleanliness, food quality, and guest service
• Willingness to learn and grow into higher leadership roles
• Ability to remain calm and focused during busy shifts

• Up to $19.00/hour
