We are currently looking for a Software Engineer (Integration) to join our specialist Integration Engineering team. This role is suitable for an early-career engineer with commercial experience looking to grow in a supportive environment, or a developing engineer ready to expand their exposure to distributed systems, integrations, and event-driven architecture. In this role, you will work within an established codebase, supporting the integration of Lovehoney Groups core business systems. You will gain exposure to key integrations and data flows, including Salesforce Order Management, warehouse management systems, and NetSuite ERP.What you will do

• Implement integration services and features using Node.js.
• Work with event-driven architectures and REST APIs for data access.
• Develop and maintain integrations supporting high-volume eCommerce order flows.
• Write clean, well-structured, and testable code, including unit and integration tests.
• Investigate and resolve issues using logs and observability tooling (with support during onboarding).
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, refinement, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with other engineers, QA, and adjacent platform teams.
• Gradually build familiarity with Salesforce Order Management APIs and data models used in B2C transaction flows.

What you should bring

• Commercial experience using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Understanding of REST APIs and backend service development.
• Familiarity with modern software engineering principles (clean code, testing, version control).
• Willingness to learn about distributed systems and integration patterns.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an agile team environment.

Desirable:

• Exposure to event-driven or pub/sub-based systems.
• Experience in eCommerce or transaction-heavy systems.
• Understanding of fault tolerance, retries, and resilient system design.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred but not required).
