Job Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing a portfolio of existing customer accounts to drive sustained revenue growth within the collision segment of the U.S. market. This position plays a key role in helping collision repair facilities, estimators, and repair planners create faster, more accurate, and highly profitable estimates and repair plans using OPUS IVS software solutions including the OPUS IVS Connect/Mobile CoPilot and ADAS Map platform. This role blends new customer acquisition with ongoing account management, focusing on customer adoption, retention, and expansion. The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with all relevant Opus IVS teams, including the Collision and ADAS Solutions Sales teams, to deliver long-term customer value and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sales of the OPUS IVS collision software, specifically the CoPilot platform solutions (incl. Connect, Mobile and Blueprint).
- Manage and grow a defined book of existing customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned collision repair facilities.
- Generate new leads and maintain a consistent sales pipeline to achieve monthly sales KPIs and quota.
- Prospect and close new business opportunities through cold calling, email, relationship building, online webinars, industry events, etc.
- Work the full sales cycle from opening to closing the sale and through post-sale customer engagement and expansion.
- Utilize a variety of inbound leads including web leads, call-ins, pre-set appointments and referrals.
- Build meaningful business relationships through a consultative selling approach.
- Drive customer retention through regular account check-ins, business reviews, and solution optimization discussions.
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities within existing accounts.
- Generate, maintain, and expand the existing database of prospects and customer accounts.
- Collaborate with channel partners and other industry leaders to expand Opus IVS’s footprint and brand.
- Maintain accurate account, pipeline, and forecasting data within CRM and ERP systems.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Proven understanding of the repair planning process in the collision industry.
- Minimum 1 year experience in collision estimate writing and/or repair planning.
- Experience with CCCOne and/or Mitchell Cloud Estimating.
- Minimum 2 years of successful sales experience prospecting and selling software solutions to the collision industry.
- Experience managing ongoing customer relationships.
- Strong phone presence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Salesforce.
- Experience working with NetSuite.
- Familiarity with SLAs and managing customer performance metrics.
