Job Summary:

EDG TECH is looking forAutomation Professionals to support exciting projects in the Renewables, EnergyTransition, Chemicals, Manufacturing, and Oil & Gas markets. The Automation Professional I position willparticipate in the configuration, testing, and commissioning of automationtechnology platforms from ABB, Emerson, Honeywell, Rockwell, and Yokogawa. With mentors spanning industries and controlplatforms, EDG TECH provides an environment to pursue and develop yourtechnical skills.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interpret, analyze,and redline client engineering deliverables (i.e., P&IDs, Narratives, and Cause& Effects);

• Create or modifyControl Narratives and Cause & Effects;

• Compile data in EDGTECH proprietary automation tools;

• Define and developHMI subpicture library elements and associated control logic;

• Bulk build devicecontrol element and standard logic;

• Work with clientteams to define and develop HMI graphics;

• Build complexlogic, state-based control, regulatory control, advanced regulatory control,and other applications:

• Support alarmrationalization workshops and implement results:

• Configure andpopulate data historian and asset management system databases;

• Participate inclient witnessed Factory Acceptance Tests;

• Review and provideinput into design documents, change orders, material requisitions andspecifications for construction or procurement use;

• Interacts withclient on all engineering and technical matters;

• Support businessdevelopment by participating in proposals and estimates.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering,Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or similardiscipline required (May 2025 graduates eligible);

• Zero to one (1) year experience designing and implementing controls systemsor in the automation industry;

• Candidates must provide college or universitytranscripts;

• Technical hands-on knowledge of relatedengineering systems, engineering calculations, application of engineering andconstruction methods and materials, and engineering application of computersoftware;

• Desire to learnplant production processes, systems, and new technologies;

• Knowledge of project execution in automationprojects;

• Knowledge of industry / regulatory codes andstandards;

• Skill in oral and written communication;

• Strong organizational skills related toengineering activities.

Working Conditions:

• Work is primarily conducted in an officeenvironment but also requires occasional travel to off-site work locations;

• Field duties require outdoor work in aconstruction site or in plant type atmosphere;

• Interaction with other team members, as well assupervisors and client personnel;

• Working on a construction site or in plantand/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels

• Must be able to wear safety equipment asrequired by the safety department for personal protection;

• May be at more than one job site in a day andmust be able to tolerate climate changes;

• May be required to travel out of town on aperiodic basis.

Physical Requirements (With or without ReasonableAccommodation):

• Must be able to lift and carry twenty (20)pounds;

• Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing orother communication capabilities which permits employee to communicateeffectively;

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time;

• Sufficient vision or other powers of observationwhich permits employee to conduct analysis and investigations;

• Sufficient manual dexterity which permit theemployee to perform routine office duties;

• Sufficient personal mobility and physicalreflexes to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-sitelocations.
