As a Senior Client Success Manager, you will own the strategic relationship with a portfolio of high-value clients, ensuring their success and long-term satisfaction. You will guide clients throughout their journey, from onboarding to renewals, while identifying growth and expansion opportunities. This role combines executive-level client engagement with cross-functional collaboration, requiring strong communication, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence outcomes. You will also mentor and coach junior team members to elevate overall team performance. - Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, managing the full client lifecycle from onboarding to renewal and expansion
- Understand clients’ business objectives and industry context, ensuring alignment with success measures
- Conduct regular business reviews and success checkpoints to communicate impact and progress
- Proactively engage clients to identify evolving needs, positioning solutions to deliver value
- Lead onboarding, implementation, and enablement efforts to maximize adoption and business outcomes
- Monitor account health and mitigate risks using data-driven insights
- Partner with internal teams to incorporate client feedback and influence roadmap priorities
- Mentor and coach junior Client Success Managers to enhance team effectiveness
- Identify and execute growth opportunities, supporting upsell and cross-sell strategies
- Manage renewals and collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Finance to ensure timely and accurate contract execution
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in client success, account management, or renewals in a B2B SaaS environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage strategic accounts with complex stakeholder landscapes
- Strong executive presence and ability to navigate high-stakes conversations with senior clients
- Proficiency in client relationship management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with contract management, renewals, and enterprise procurement or legal processes
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- High proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
- Prior experience in eCommerce or SaaS environments preferred
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications; 5+ years of progressive client-facing experience; proficiency with client success platforms (e.g., Gainsight) and data-driven account management
