Production Assistant at Canyon Coffee LLC – Los Angeles, California

We are looking for a dedicated and flexible Shipping & Production Assistant to join the team at Canyon Coffee. In this full-time role you will start by assisting with coffee production, then gradually transition into the role best suited to your skills and interests. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and offers opportunities for growth within our expanding operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Support: Support coffee production by assisting with packaging and labeling coffee beans as needed, and working collaboratively with the team to ensure work orders are fulfilled on a timely basis.
• Warehouse Organization: Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace; this includes managing packing materials, shipping supplies, and general upkeep.
• Quality Control: Perform checks to ensure the quality and accuracy of orders and production batches.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in warehouse or production roles is a plus but not required; willingness to learn and grow is essential.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in order fulfillment, labeling, and inventory management.
• Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Team-Oriented: Ability to work collaboratively with the team and communicate effectively with the Warehouse Manager.
• Adaptability: Willing to adjust to various tasks within the warehouse and production area as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic understanding of inventory and order management systems.
• Interest in coffee and willingness to learn about the roasting and production process.
• Forklift certification or willingness to train and become certified.
