JOB SUMMARY

The Theatre Expo is responsible for ensuring that theatre, dine-in, and take-out service items are prepared and served correctly and promptly. They coordinate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure high-quality and accurate food service. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to provide customers with an enjoyable dining experience.

Full-time and part-time positions available. Saturday and Sunday availability is required. Previous restaurant experience is strongly preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy procedures
2. Communicate orders, changes, and modifications with FOH and BOH staff
3. Read printed tickets and prepare garnish and items for sale
4. Inspect dishes and tickets for modifications and accuracy
5. Ensure the cleanliness of the expo stations throughout the shift
6. Communicate clearly and professionally with all staff in the restaurant
7. Complete all opening, closing, and side duties
8. Other duties as assigned
9. Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect

Qualifications

Must be 16 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required. On-the-job tools and training provided.

1. Stand and walk for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
2. Work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
3. Lift and carry 30+ lbs
4. Communicate professionally and effectively under pressure and in high-stress environments
5. Organization and prioritization skills
6. Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
7. Bend, move quickly around the restaurant, and stop and wipe frequently
8. Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency
