Position: Catering Associate

Joseph’s Catering Associates support the Catering Department by preparing and packaging orders, assisting customers, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring catering orders are accurate and ready on time. This role contributes to a clean, efficient, and customer-focused catering operation.

Routine Tasks:

• Assist in taking and entering customer catering orders accurately.
• Provide menu information and answer customer questions about catering options
• Prepare and package catering items according to established standards
• Help coordinate and communicate order details with other departments
• Support the delivery team by helping load catering orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the catering prep area
• Ensure proper labeling and presentation of catering items
• Provide courteous and efficient customer service
• Assist with deliveries as needed (must have valid driver’s license)
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the Catering Manager or store leadership

• Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work well with others in a team setting
• Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with deliveries

The Catering Associate must be able to stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment that involves interacting with customers and fellow team members. The role may also involve driving the company van to deliver catering orders, including the loading and unloading of products, to ensure safe and timely deliveries.
