We are looking for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse who will work closely with clients to determine their rehabilitation needs and to provide individualized treatment by providing structured as well as holistic healing. Supports clients with foundational well-being that develops the skills needed to overcome, heal & grow to sustain long-term recovery.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing assessment plan and oversees the medical and psychiatric management of the client coordination with the attending physician. He/she is also a member of the Treatment Team and provides input into the development of the Master Treatment Plan. He/she functions under the guidance of their State Licensure within the facilities P&P and in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Maintains open communication lines with facility staff, attending clinicians and physicians, clients, and families. Liaisons with community agencies, vendors, and payers of health services.

What will your day look like? You will:

  • Assess new patients, review diagnoses, analyze medical test results

  • Provide medication education to clients

  • Completes initial history and physical assessment for patients.

  • Maintain client's clinical record, including documentation of activities performed timely.

  • Works with clinical and medical teams to engage, educate, communicate, and coordinate with clients and their families.

  • Communicates with insurance companies and pharmacies on behalf of patients when necessary.

  • Maintain up-to-date education on current addiction treatment trends, including knowledge of the Internet and local resources for those with substance abuse.

  • Administer intermuscular injections such as Vivitrol as needed.

  • Other tasks as assigned.

What you will need for this position:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of practice.

  • Minimum one year of professional nursing experience within the past three years in a related field.

  • Must be open/flexible to working days, nights, and weekends, if required.

  • Organizational Skills to plan patient appointments and meetings timely.

  • Problem-solving skills to identify shortcomings of care plans and revise them accordingly.

  • CPR certification.
