How you will make an impact
- Lead and execute company‑wide business development strategies aligned with growth objectives
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in targeted markets
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, engineers, owners, vendors, and industry partners
- Serve as a primary point of contact for key prospects during the pursuit and interview process
- Oversee opportunity tracking from lead generation through contract award and handoff
- Own and execute marketing strategy, including branding, proposals, digital presence, and events
- Direct proposal development and client presentations in collaboration with estimating and operations
- Ensure pursuits align with margin goals, risk tolerance, and execution capabilities
- Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Estimating, Finance, and HR to support growth initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and hold accountable business development and marketing team members while tracking KPIs and performance
What You Need to Succeed
- 8 + years of experience in business development, marketing, sales, or leadership within construction, industrial services, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of the Industrial Food, Dairy, and Beverage sectors or related industries
- Proficiency in CRM software for tracking leads, opportunities, marketing tools and customer interactions.
- Proven success driving revenue growth and managing client relationships.
- Experience owning marketing execution and brand strategy.
- Results -driven with a focus on growing revenue and diversifying the customer base
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
