Position Summary:
This role is more than just a Team Lead - it`s an opportunity to help guide the team while actively contributing to every part of the operation. As part of our counter- service concept, you play a key role in creating a welcoming, efficient environment where guests can easily navigate their experience, whether ordering through QR or at the counter.
Team Leads are expected to lead by example and work alongside the team in all areas of the restaurant. This is a fully hands - on role where you will support cooking, prepping, cleaning, and cashiering while ensuring smooth operations and a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on Operations: Work across all stations including food preparation, cooking, packaging, cashiering, and cleaning, ensuring all tasks are completed to standard
- Leadership & Support: Act as the point person during shifts, guiding the team, answering questions, and ensuring efficient workflow
- Guest Experience: Lead by example in providing friendly, attentive service and step in to resolve guest concerns when needed
- Shift Execution: Oversee the flow of service, ensuring orders are accurate, timely, and meet quality standards
- Training & Development: Support onboarding and training of new team members, reinforcing consistency and expectations
- Quality & Cleanliness: Maintain high standards of food quality, food safety, and overall cleanliness throughout the restaurant
- Cash Handling: Assist with and oversee transactions, ensuring accuracy and accountability
- Inventory & Stocking: Help monitor inventory levels and ensure all stations are properly stocked and ready for service
- Problem Solving: Address operational challenges in real time and escalate issues to management when necessary
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
- Prior experience in a food service or to-go restaurant setting (preferred)
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and balancing the cash drawer
- Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures
- Ability to acquire a California Food Handlers, Sexual Harassment Certification and Responsible Beverage Certification (RBS) before or within 30 days of hire date
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate weight items
- Good communication skills and team-orientated mindset
