Senior Decision Support Analyst📍 Location: Genessee County, MI🕒 Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm💰 Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 based on experience and education📄 Position Type: Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours per week, Hybrid [4 days remote + 1 day on-site]

As a Senior Decision Support Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial and operational insights that drive data-informed decisions across the healthcare system. Your work will directly influence strategy, cost management, and process improvement to enhance performance and patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial & Data Analysis

Provide analytical operations support using various data sources.

Interpret financial and statistical data to guide management decisions.

Maintain reporting data integrity and verify data accuracy.

Strategic Insights & Cost Management

Identify cost control opportunities and recommend actionable solutions.

Develop strategies for new program initiatives and process enhancements.

Prepare financial studies and performance reports to support system improvements.

System Support & Collaboration

Support implementation of new systems and analytical tools.

Collaborate across departments to ensure timely, accurate data delivery.

Work comfortably with large datasets to extract and analyze complex financial information.

Key Competencies:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel, Access, SQL, and Tableau
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex datasets
Excellent communication and presentation skills

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Healthcare Administration (required)
• Master’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration (preferred)
5+ years of healthcare finance or financial analysis experience (or 10+ years in lieu of degree)
Experience with cost accounting, proforma analysis, and reimbursement systems (strongly preferred)
