Bosch in Anderson is seeking a highly organized Supply Chain & Packaging Operations Coordinator to support packaging management, supplier coordination, and logistics operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining the flow of returnable packaging (dunnage) throughout the supply chain while also supporting supplier quality tracking and transportation coordination.
The position works closely with packaging engineers, suppliers, planners, warehouse teams, and logistics partners to ensure materials, packaging, and supplier communication remain aligned with production requirements.
This is an indefinite contract role supporting ongoing supply chain and operational activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesReturnable Packaging & Supply Chain CoordinationManage cycle counts and annual inventory counts for Bosch-owned returnable dunnage used by suppliers and customers.
Maintain returnable packaging schedules and agreements in SAP.
Track and maintain stock levels at packaging pool points to support CMS material flow.
Coordinate recycling of obsolete or damaged dunnage and maintain relationships with recycling vendors.
Track and maintain records of broken, damaged, or obsolete packaging materials.
Monitor returnable packaging shipments moving overseas via sea freight.
Coordinate with customers and suppliers regarding dunnage requests, repairs, and availability.
Ensure suppliers have sufficient packaging to maintain uninterrupted component supply flow.
Support expedited packaging shipments when supply chain issues arise.
Maintain and update the Returnable Packaging Catalog including creation, updates, and obsolescence management.
Create iSTAR requests and miscellaneous shipping requests.
Arrange transportation with carriers and track shipments to suppliers.
Communicate shipment status with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Perform freight bill audits and support transportation cost accuracy.
Support supplier quality processes including supplier Q2 creation and tracking.
Maintain meeting minutes and track follow-up actions with suppliers and internal teams.
Coordinate RMA returns to suppliers and ensure proper shipping documentation.
Monitor ASN dashboards and supplier connectivity issues.
Track supplier complaints and support corrective action follow-up.
Maintain tracking for FMEA/problem-solving actions and supplier concessions.
Support audit preparation and documentation for quality teams.
Education
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field).
Experience
2–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing operations, or packaging coordination.
Experience working in automotive or manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
Technical Skills
Experience with SAP or ERP systems preferred.
Strong Excel and spreadsheet management skills.
Experience coordinating logistics, inventory, or packaging programs.
Other Skills
Strong organizational and multitasking ability.
Ability to coordinate across suppliers, planners, engineering, and warehouse teams.
Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
