The Department of Finance and Quantitative Methods at the University of Kentucky seeks to hire a full-time lecturer. Wall Street or similar high-finance professional experience is required. The projected start date is August 1, 2026. The selected candidate will be appointed to a 9-month, non-tenure eligible faculty position for an initial two-year period that has the potential for renewal and for promotion to Senior Lecturer after five years. While this position has most of its time focused on teaching, it also has service responsibilities, including advising and mentoring students pursuing careers in high finance (e.g., investment banking, private equity, asset management, and related fields). The anticipated initial DOE will be 80% teaching and 20% service.
