About This Position

Description:

The Project Analyst supports program operations by collecting, organizing, and analyzing operational and program data to support reporting, decision-making, and overall program effectiveness. This position works on-site daily in Laurel, Maryland and assists with maintaining project tracking systems, documentation, and databases used to monitor program performance and operational activities.

The Project Analyst develops reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders while supporting administrative and coordination activities that help ensure efficient workflow and alignment with organizational objectives. The role also assists with meeting coordination, documentation management, and cross-team communication to support the successful execution of program tasks and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and interpret program and operational data to support analysis and reporting activities.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate program status, metrics, and performance trends.
  • Maintain project tracking systems, documentation repositories, and databases supporting program oversight and reporting.
  • Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, and documenting action items and follow-ups.
  • Assist with administrative and operational tasks that support efficient program workflow and coordination.
  • Support development and maintenance of project documentation, reports, and records.
  • Assist with monitoring project activities, schedules, and deliverables to help ensure tasks remain on track.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and cross-functional coordination across operational teams.
  • Maintain organized documentation and records to support reporting, compliance, and program tracking requirements.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to gather information and support program reporting and documentation needs.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in project management, business administration, OR a related field or a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, data tracking tools, or databases to support reporting and analysis.
  • Strong organizational and documentation management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and support reporting requirements.
