Paralegal Immigration at Distro – Bogotá

Job description: We are seeking a resilient and proactive paralegal to join our team and support the growing number of bankrupcy cases. The ideal candidate is emotionally intelligent, able to manage stress effectively, and thrives under pressure. Responsabilities:

Prepare and complete immigration forms, petitions, and applications, including supporting documentation.

Conduct research related to immigration regulations, case procedures, and filing requirements.

Collect, review, and organize client information and evidence for case filings.

Maintain accurate and uptodate case files and tracking systems.

Communicate with clients regarding required documents, case updates, and deadlines. Draft correspondence, cover letters, and summaries for attorney review.

Assist attorneys in case preparation for interviews, hearings, and submissions.

Ensure compliance with confidentiality, ethical guidelines, and immigration regulations.

Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines. Familiarity with immigration procedures and forms USA (At least a year of experience) Proficiency in document management and office software.
