Surgical Scrub Tech (Certified) Main OR at North Kansas City Hospital – North Kansas City, Missouri

SUMMARY: Under the direction of a licensed professional nurse, assist in the delivery of direct primary care to the patient experiencing elective or emergency surgical intervention. Primary function is to assist with surgical procedures.

EXPERIENCE: OR Tech, one to two years or position related experience.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Knowledge of aseptic technique, broad range of instrumentation and sterilization processing.

OTHER: Basic computer skills.

LICENSE/CERT: Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)

EDUCATION: Required: High School or Equivalent, Preferred: Associates - Related Field, Bachelors - Related Field
