We are seeking a Senior Advisor for a full-time contract opportunity with FM Talent Source for one of our valued clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Be responsible for interpreting and implementing legislation, new legislative issuances, and policies governing other programs impacting grant programs.
• On an ad hoc basis, interpret the regulations governing grants under the OCS portfolio and develop policy recommendations and alternatives, providing technical advice and guidance to OCS staff, grant recipients, and contractors to accomplish program objectives and maintain consistency nationwide in applying program policies, standards, and procedures.
• Develop written policy guidance about essential policy priorities for field offices, grantees, and other stakeholders, as assigned.
• Provide input for studies of OCS program activities or related studies conducted by other federal agencies such as the Government Accountability Office and national public interest groups.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Five (5) years of experience in a senior management position or in the administration of policy assessments/analysis.
• Corporate-level management experience conducting policy/program research, data analysis, and evaluation studies reflecting an ability to command organizational resources and direct staff within the broader organization.
• Knowledge of federal statutes and regulations.

Compensation Range: The salary range provided is determined by market value, internal equity, and the candidate's experience and qualifications. Offers will be extended within this range, though not all candidates will receive an offer at the upper limit.
