The Progression Cleaner supports the construction project by maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout active work areas. This role ensures that debris is removed, materials are staged properly, and work zones remain clear to support efficient construction workflow. Progress Cleaners follow direction from the Lead Progress Cleaner and coordinate with other site labor teams to ensure the facility always meets cleanliness standards. Their work helps maintain a safe environment, supports daily project readiness, and contributes to overall site productivity.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization across active construction areas.
- Remove debris, scrap materials, and hazards from work zones.
- Assist with proper staging of materials and tools to support workflow.
- Ensure pathways, walkways, and work surfaces remain clear and safe.
- Follow directions from the Lead Progress Cleaner and coordinate with other site labor teams.
- Support daily site readiness by preparing work areas before teams arrive.
- Monitor active work zones and address cleanliness issues promptly.
- Maintain adherence to site safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Assist with general labor tasks as needed to support construction operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong awareness of safety practices in an active construction environment.
- Ability to follow direction and work as part of a coordinated team.
- Reliability and consistency in completing daily tasks.
- Strong attention to detail to maintain clean, hazard‑free work areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working at construction sites or in industrial cleaning.
- Familiarity with basic construction materials and site flow.
- Experience using general labor tools (brooms, shovels, dust pans, vacuums, etc.).
- Ability to anticipate housekeeping needs and respond proactively.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 40lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time in various work environments
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for equipment related tasks
- Basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations and navigate areas quickly
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently withing various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies.
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for working with small components and connectors
- Clear vision, with or without correction, to perform tasks requiring attention to detail and precision while wearing safety glasses
- Ability to differentiate between color-coded warning signs, labels, and cables
- Ability to work in environments with a wide variety temperature inside a facility
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, or snow
- Capability to work in environments with elevated noise levels while wearing hearing protection
- Possession of a valid driver’s license for work-related travel, as required

Compensation & Benefits Disclosure
The hourly rate for this role is $18.50 per hour. This range reflects a good‑faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire, based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and market/location. Our comprehensive benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), gym discount, mental health, Discounted Group Life & AD&D, Discounted Group Short & Long-term Disability, 401(k) retirement matching, PTO/paid holidays, and parental leave. This posted hourly rate is the final rate of pay for the position, based on job‑related factors consistent with applicable law.
10-hour shifts, Mon–Sat between 5AM and 5PM (shifts will vary based off season and daylight savings)
