Position Overview
Nationwide Trailers is hiring a General Manager to support continued growth across the Dallas-Fort Worth market. This role is built for an experienced dealership or retail operator who can lead a high-performing store while contributing to regional expansion.
The selected candidate may initially operate within an established DFW location to learn company systems, standards, and execution expectations before supporting additional growth initiatives. Flexibility within the DFW market is required, and the ability to relocate to other markets as the company expands is a plus.
The General Manager owns overall store performance across trailer sales, parts operations, service operations, inventory management, customer experience, and financial results.
Store Leadership and Execution
- Own store-level revenue, gross profit, and controllable expense performance
- Translate regional strategy into disciplined daily execution
- Lead consistent operating rhythms including huddles, reporting, and performance reviews
- Maintain visible leadership presence across sales and service operations
- Build a culture of urgency, professionalism, and accountability
Sales, Parts, and Service Oversight
- Drive coordinated execution across sales, parts, and service departments
- Hold department leaders accountable to performance standards and KPIs
- Monitor sales conversion, service throughput, and inventory discipline
- Ensure clean handoffs between departments to maximize revenue capture
- Remove operational bottlenecks that limit growth
Financial and Inventory Accountability
- Maintain strong command of the store P&L and performance metrics
- Monitor revenue trends, gross margins, labor performance, and expenses
- Ensure accurate inventory controls across trailers, parts, and service
- Partner with regional leadership on budgeting and forecasting
Team Leadership and Development
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing leaders and team members
- Provide coaching, performance management, and succession planning
- Build leadership depth to support continued market growth
Market Growth Support
- Support expansion initiatives within the DFW market
- Assist with store launches, transitions, or operational improvements
- Maintain flexibility across DFW locations based on business needs
Qualifications
- Five or more years of multi-department leadership experience in dealership, automotive, RV, equipment, or related retail operations
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and operational execution
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L statements
- Experience developing leaders and building accountable teams
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
