Overview

The D442 Wireless Systems Integration team is seeking a candidate to support the cybersecurity life cycle of all current and future system baselines and serve as a technical point of contact for cyber-related requirements.

The Test Engineer will be an integral part of the system engineering team, responsible for compiling, assessing, and assisting in implementation of cyber requirements. This Test Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining the accreditation status of the current and future baselines of the wireless systems under the team’s cognizance. The position will require that the test engineer has a strong security focus, have strong attitude towards first time quality, and the ability to work and communicate with other internal technical personnel as well as EB management and external organizations including our external customers.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing new cyber requirements for their applicability and impact to the system
  • Developing and maintaining documents in support of system accreditation
  • Assisting the development team to implement new cyber requirements in current/future baselines
  • Providing guidance and support on all cyber requirements
  • Coordinating yearly and Ad-hoc system validation events in support of the systems ATO/ATC
  • Developing and maintaining system security policies and procedures

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience with the creation and tailoring of cybersecurity policies and analyzing cybersecurity requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain CompTIA Security + certification

Preferred:

  • Experience with network infrastructure
  • Experience with NIST 800-53
  • Experience with NIST 800-171
  • Experience with the NSA Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program
  • Current DoD Secret clearance, or above
  • CompTIA Security +
  • DoD 8570.01M IAT Level 3 approved certifications
