About This Position
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Chief Program Officer (CPO), The Director of Recruitment is a strategic leadership role responsible for the design, execution, and continuous improvement of the organization’s member and employer acquisition strategy. As the architect of our restructured intake process, this individual ensures that every prospective member moves seamlessly from initial interest to active participation to job placement. The individual also ensures that our employer recruitment strategy is developed, comprehensive, and operates effectively. The Director leads a team of five to meet aggressive growth targets while maintaining the highest standards for "quality of fit" to ensure long-term organizational success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Lead the implementation and continuous optimization of the restructured intake process to maximize conversion rates.
•Define and enforce "Ideal Member" criteria to ensure recruited individuals align with organizational values and long-term retention goals.
•Design and execute a comprehensive strategy for the recruitment of employer partners to expand the organization’s network and placement opportunities.
•Oversee the full lifecycle of the employer partnership funnel, from initial prospecting and outreach to the signing of formal agreements and long-term retention.
•Track and analyze recruitment metrics, such as lead-to-member conversion and team productivity, to provide regular reports to leadership.
•Develop a structured "Employer Partner Tier" system that defines different levels of engagement, financial commitment, and mutual benefits.
•Conduct weekly pipeline reviews with the employer recruitment team to troubleshoot roadblocks and ensure consistent progress toward partnership goals.
•Provide direct supervision, goal setting, and performance coaching for the Program Coordinator, Navigator, and three Recruiters.
•Manage the hand-off points between the recruitment team and the intake team to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure a smooth member experience.
•Monitor team bandwidth and redistribute leads or tasks to maintain high speed and accuracy in the intake process.
•Create and maintain a comprehensive "Recruitment Playbook" containing scripts, outreach templates, and vetting protocols.
•Identify and cultivate high-value recruitment channels, including corporate partnerships and community alliances.
•Represent the organization at high-level networking events and conferences to build a pipeline of quality prospects.
•Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure the organization’s value proposition remains compelling.
•Manage the recruitment budget and ensure marketing and outreach spend stays within allocated limits.
•Standardize the outreach and pitching process, providing the team with scripts, pitch decks, and negotiation frameworks to secure high-value corporate accounts.
•Collaborate with other department heads to ensure recruitment targets align with the organization’s operational capacity.
•Audit the performance of the employer recruitment team to ensure they are meeting both quantitative (number of partners) and qualitative (partner engagement) metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS
•Excellent experience and track record in communication, interpersonal, organizational, administration, and management skills are essential.
•Demonstrable aptitude for and experience with implementing change processes.
•The ability to evaluate and analyzed detailed information and work independently coupled with responsible decision-making and due regard for SER-Jobs’ policies and procedures.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate raw data into actionable strategies and executive-level reports. Very similar as below highlighted
•Exceptional communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to serve as a persuasive spokesperson for the organization.
•Adaptability/Flexibility: Must be open to change and to considerable variety in the workplace.

•Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and applicable laws including: interviewing; hiring; training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degree and/or additional related experience of 5 to 7 years preferred.
Related Experience: Minimum of 5 years of successful and recent experience in recruitment/outreach required. Minimum of 3 years of successful professional experience in a significant leadership position within a not-for-profit organization, which includes experience in successfully managing the efforts of career coaches, recruiters and/or planning and implementing recruitment initiatives.
