Position Summary
The Helicopter Maintenance Technician supports the maintenance team by completing tasks as assigned by the Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technician (LAMT) or their delegates. The role ensures all activities are conducted in accordance with Jet Aviation's requirements and applicable Civil Aviation regulations.

The hangar environment may be extremely hot or cold during certain seasons of the year.

Position Summary

Main Responsibilities
Quality, Safety and Environment
- Ensure all assigned tasks are performed in compliance with company policies, procedures, and Civil Aviation regulations.
- Actively participate in the company's Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) program and Safety Management System.
Maintenance Support
- Perform general hangar duties, including cleaning, organizing racking/storage, and replenishing consumables.
- Assist with aircraft-related duties such as cleaning, washing, lubrication, towing, and supporting technical staff with maintenance or repair tasks as directed.
- Support the paint shop with cleaning, sanding, stripping, preparation, masking, and application of pro seal as required.
- Assist with Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and tooling maintenance schedules as directed.
- Work away from base as required.
- Promptly inform the LAMT of any additional work requirements or defects noted during assigned tasks.
Regulatory and Compliance
Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with Civil Aviation regulations and Jet Aviation's Part 145 procedures
Key Challenges
- Provide effective assistance to engineering staff to ensure timely completion of aircraft projects while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Support and participate in Jet Aviation's Core Values and Safety, Security, and Environment policies and procedures as outlined in the Jet Aviation Governance and Policies Manual.
- Complete all assigned tasks in compliance with regulatory, company, and customer requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Working knowledge of hangar requirements and aircraft safety precautions.
- Experience working in and around an aircraft environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English. Any other language is an asset.
- Ability to obtain a UAE driver's license.
- Attention to detail, efficiency, and proactive approach.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team.
