ARES Construction is seeking a results-driven Superintendent to lead field operations for residential disaster recovery and rebuilding projects. This role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with federally funded program requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, goal-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced environments where accountability, communication, and problem-solving are essential.
As a Superintendent, you will oversee subcontractors, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure projects meet quality and compliance standardshelping restore homes and rebuild communities impacted by natural disasters.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to ensure high-quality, on-time project completion
Source and coordinate local trades in active disaster recovery markets
Develop and maintain project schedules; proactively address delays
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and program requirements
Manage project budgets and monitor profitability, ensuring work stays within scope
Understand cost structures and margins to ensure financial performance
Communicate effectively with Project Managers, clients, inspectors, and stakeholders
Maintain accurate daily reports, project documentation, and compliance records
De-escalate field conflicts and foster a solutions-focused team environment
Ensure adherence to local, state, and federally funded construction requirements
5 years of experience in residential construction preferred
High School Diploma or GED required
Strong understanding of construction budgeting and project profitability
Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Strong communication skills with a respectful, team-oriented leadership style
Ability to problem-solve quickly and maintain composure under pressure
Experience with CDBG, FEMA, or HUD-funded projects is a plus
Experience with mobile home replacement and site preparation in disaster recovery programs is a plus
$70,000 $90,000 per year + Performance Bonus (up to 50% of base salary)
Performance Bonus: Up to 50% of base salary based on project results
