This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team responsible for shaping how sales opportunities are presented and won. You will oversee RFP writers, proposal project managers, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure excellence in client-facing materials, demos, and bill tests. The position combines strategic leadership with operational execution, driving efficiency, consistency, and quality across proposals and sales workflows. You will modernize content processes, implement AI-enabled automation, and provide guidance during critical client engagements. - Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of RFP and proposal project managers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and quality
- Develop and scale repeatable workflows for proposal content, bill tests, demos, and executive-level sales materials
- Optimize resource allocation by aligning assignments with team members’ strengths and professional expertise
- Maintain oversight of RFP responses, client presentations, and product demonstrations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and consistent messaging
- Leverage AI tools and automation platforms to streamline proposal creation, enhance personalization, and increase operational efficiency
- Continuously evaluate team performance, KPIs, and workflow effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and driving process enhancements
- Serve as a strategic partner to Sales, Product, and Client Success teams during critical opportunities and escalations
- Bachelor’s degree required; 7+ years of experience in proposal management, sales enablement, or related roles
- Minimum of 3 years of people management experience leading high-performing teams
- Proficiency with RFP platforms (e.g., RFPIO, Responsive, Loopio) and Salesforce CRM
- Experience with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) and integrating AI or automation into sales workflows
- Exceptional writing, editing, and messaging skills with a keen eye for content quality
- Strong project management skills, stakeholder management, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset with experience translating performance metrics into actionable improvements
- Strategic thinker with operational execution capability and strong communication skills
- Competitive base salary: $142,000 – $165,000 USD, depending on experience and location
