Job Overview
The HR Receptionist is responsible for overseeing administrative functions including managing the front desk, customer service and maintaining a safe work environment. The HR Receptionist will also be responsible for supporting the day-to-day tasks of HR and R&D as needed. Must represent and display a high level of dependability, maturity, confidentiality, and courtesy. Acts as the first point of contact with our customers/employees/vendors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the utmost confidentiality regarding employee records and all sensitive information in which this position comes in contact.
- Coordinate new hire orientation, tuition reimbursement and separations.
- Input employee changes into the payroll system and verify changes made by other HR team members.
- Assist R&D employees with company benefits, policies and procedures questions.
- Coordinate town hall meetings and catering for HR events
- Assist in maintaining I-9 documentation and ensuring audit readiness.
- Generate basic HR and compliance reports as requested.
- Ensure all required regulatory workplace posters and employment law notices are current and properly displayed at the worksite.
- Respond to employment verification requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all break areas are appropriately stocked and coordinate vending/coffee services
- Manage conference rooms and training room scheduling and supplies
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Skills/Requirements
- Strong knowledge and skills in all MS Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Previous HR experience a plus
- Notary capability is a plus
- Experience with Paylocity and/or other HR systems is preferred
- Exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills with attention to detail and emphasis on quality, time management and follow-through with tight deadlines
