The Position Specifics

As a Bartender, you are responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging bar experience while preparing high-quality beverages for both bar guests and the service team.

This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to balance guest interaction with timely, accurate drink execution.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all beverage offerings, including cocktails, beer, wine, coffee, and non-alcoholic options
  • Provide attentive, friendly service to bar guests while supporting servers with beverage production
  • Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with state and company guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area, including service wells, refrigeration, and glassware
  • Monitor and restock inventory, including garnishes, mixers, and bar supplies
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures
  • Support overall restaurant operations by assisting with food running, bussing, and guest needs as needed

Service & Experience

  • Create a bar environment that is welcoming, comfortable, and engaging
  • Balance efficiency with genuine guest interaction
  • Maintain composure and professionalism during high-volume service
  • Contribute to a smooth and coordinated flow between Front of House and Back of House

This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime in accordance with federal and state law.

This position participates in a tip pool in accordance with company policy and applicable wage and hour laws.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of bartending experience in a high-volume environment preferred
  • Must maintain valid Food Handler’s certification and Title 4 Basic certification
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure while maintaining quality
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
  • Understanding of responsible alcohol service, including ID verification and over-service prevention
