Phlebotomy experience a plus
Available Shifts: 3p-11p, 11p-7a or 7p-7a; every other weekend
Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Differentials: $4-$5 weekdays, $5-$6 weekends

Primary Responsibilities:
You will be assisting our nursing staff to care for our rehabilitation patients within our LTACH and IRF Hospital units. including, but not limited to:

• Continuously monitors/observes patients to assure needs are met in a timely manner.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living specific to culture, age and developmental level.
• Performs tasks/tests delegated by the registered nurse and reports/records data as needed.
• Performs advanced skills delegated by the registered nurse as deemed competent, reports/records data as needed.
  • Checking vital signs, blood sugar, bladder scanning, strict intake and output monitoring and documentation
• Reports any changes observed in condition or behavior of patients and unusual incidents.
• Phlebotomy: Blood draws as needed

Prerequisites:

• Must have current BLS Certification. We offer free classes for re-certifications.
• Nurse Assistant Certification or experience as nurse assistant preferred, but non-experienced who wish to learn are encouraged to apply
• Working experience as phlebotomist; phlebotomy certificate a plus
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
