Charge Nurse
Full-Time | $40–$45/hr (salary is based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM | Friday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Fayetteville, GA 30214 (with travel to Newnan as needed)

The Opportunity
The Charge Nurse directs patient care during designated shifts and works closely with related departments to ensure patient care needs are addressed efficiently and effectively.
This role combines clinical patient care, staff coordination, and operational oversight to ensure patients receive high-quality care in a safe and organized clinical environment.

What You’ll Do
Patient Care & Clinical Support

• Assist staff nurses in evaluating and assessing patient needs and providing direct patient care.
• Order medications as prescribed.
• Make patient rounds and identify problems that require follow-up.

Patient Coordination & Workflow

• Manage scheduling of patient appointments.
• Receive shift reports on all patients and identify special patient care needs.
• Adjust patient assignments to meet patient care needs.

Team Coordination & Communication

• Participate in staff conferences.
• Work with related departments to ensure patient care issues are addressed during the shift.

Staffing & Administrative Support

• Make nursing assignments for the following day.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse
• Current BLS certification

Skills & Experience

• At least one (1) year of experience in a healthcare facility required
• Ambulatory Surgery Center and/or Pain Management experience preferred
• EHR experience required (Athena preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Knowledge of medical terminology, spelling, and office ethics
