Duties & Responsibilities
- Circulate, monitor, and scrub on all invasive cardiovascular procedures.
- Perform pre-assessment and manage pre/post recovery for patients.
- Assist with electrophysiology (EP) procedures, including tilt table tests and cardioversions.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs utilizing the nursing process.
- Actively participate in providing patient care as defined by the multidisciplinary plan of care.
- Deliver direct and indirect nursing care to patients of diverse cultural backgrounds and varying ages.
- Manage and provide patient care activities for a group of patients and their families using independent judgment.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with all team members to ensure quality care.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, other healthcare providers, patients, and families.
- Work toward achieving desired patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care.
Qualifications:
AnMed will accept applications from Graduate Nurses that meet SC LLR criteria.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
- BSN preferred, ADN candidates must be enrolled in BSN program within 18 months of hire date. BSN required within 4 years from date of hire.
- BLS preferred, Successful completion of hospital provided BLS course within 90 days from date of hire.
- Continues to learn and grow professionally through accepting assignments with differing patient load and complexity, clinical development programs, and involvement in professional organization.
**AnMed associate degree Nurses (ADN) who were hired as RNs prior to January 1, 2013, and continue to work as an acute care Staff Nurse since that date, were “grandfathered” and the requirement to obtain BSN within four (4) years does not apply**
