This role is central to driving commercial field effectiveness through strategic sales operations and analytics. The Senior Manager will translate business strategy into scalable processes, actionable insights, and tools that enable field teams to operate efficiently and achieve measurable outcomes. You will oversee CRM and sales systems, manage territories, maintain data integrity, and lead operational governance across multiple field programs. This position requires partnering cross-functionally with commercial, finance, and product teams to ensure alignment, optimize processes, and provide data-driven recommendations. The role combines analytical rigor with program management, leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives, empowering sales teams to execute with clarity and impact. This position offers the opportunity to influence sales operations strategy while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with significant exposure to leadership stakeholders.
- Translate commercial strategy into clear, executable field processes and maintain SOPs for consistent execution
- Lead operational cadence, governance forums, and field communications to drive alignment and accountability
- Oversee sales systems, including CRM, roster management, alignment, and sales crediting, ensuring accuracy, adoption, and reporting reliability
- Administer incentive compensation processes, including goal setting, tracking, validation, and support for field teams
- Manage execution of field programs, onboarding, business planning cycles, and regional meetings
- Drive process improvements and continuous optimization to enhance efficiency, scalability, and field effectiveness
- Coordinate cross-functional deliverables, vendors, and timelines to support commercial initiatives
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in a related field with 6–8+ years of experience in sales operations, commercial operations, field enablement, or analytics in biotech, pharma, or equivalent
- Demonstrated leadership across sales operations domains, including CRM, territory alignment, roster management, reporting/BI tools, and incentive compensation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Proven program management experience leading cross-functional initiatives and operational governance
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to travel: ~30% for remote candidates or ~10% for those based at headquarters
Preferred Skills:
- MBA or advanced degree
- Experience in oncology, commercial launches, or mid-sized/emerging biotech
- Continuous improvement mindset and change management experience
- Familiarity with AI-enabled or advanced analytics tools for field productivity
