This role provides critical guidance and hands-on support in safety, risk, and loss control across a variety of client environments. You will assess client operations, develop tailored safety programs, and implement effective risk mitigation strategies that protect people, property, and operations. The position combines analytical expertise with practical, on-the-ground consulting, including both virtual and onsite engagements. You will collaborate with executives, operational teams, and other stakeholders to strengthen safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive measurable improvements in workplace safety. This role is ideal for a proactive, self-motivated professional who enjoys traveling, solving complex safety challenges, and delivering meaningful impact across diverse industries. Strong communication, training, and problem-solving skills are essential, as your recommendations will influence both operational efficiency and employee well-being.

Accountabilities:
  • Provide expert safety and risk management consultation through virtual and onsite client engagements
  • Conduct risk assessments, evaluate workplace hazards, and recommend tailored mitigation strategies
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve client safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Review existing safety programs and controls to assess effectiveness and compliance
  • Deliver training sessions, presentations, and guidance to client teams on injury prevention and safety practices
  • Manage travel and client schedules efficiently to maximize service delivery and coverage
  • Perform root cause analyses, track incidents, and support corrective actions to reduce risk exposure
  • Build strong client relationships and communicate effectively with executives, managers, and operational teams
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED; additional safety certifications required (e.g., COSS, COHST, ARM, CRM, ALCM, CSHCO, ASP, CSP)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in loss control, safety, or risk management consulting
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety, risk principles, loss control, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience in evaluating operations, developing safety programs, and implementing risk mitigation strategies
  • Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills for interacting with all organizational levels
  • Proficiency in MS Office and research tools, including use of AI for risk analysis and mitigation
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple client engagements independently
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel; willingness to travel overnight approximately 3-4 times per month
  • Ability to work in diverse environments including offices, manufacturing sites, and construction locations, and to endure environmental and physical demands such as heat, heights, lifting, and prolonged standing or walking
