About This Position

ESI is seeking a Medicaid Business Analyst that analyzes and improves business processes, identifies opportunities, and develops and documents solutions to complex problems, acting as a bridge between business and IT, and leading business analysis activities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Business Process Analysis: - Analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Requirements Gathering: -Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
• Solution Design:-Design and develop solutions that address business needs, considering technical feasibility and business impact.
• Project Management:- Lead and manage business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle, including scoping, planning, execution, and closure. • Communication and Collaboration:
• Facilitate communication between business and IT teams, ensuring alignment and understanding.
Data Analysis:- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making.
Strategic Planning: - Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans.
Problem Solving- Identify and solve complex business problems, using analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Documentation: - Create and maintain documentation, such as requirements specifications, process diagrams, requirements traceability documents, and user manuals.
• Training and Mentoring- Provide guidance and support to junior business analysts.

QUALIFICATIONS
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills . Medicaid Experience Required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team .
• Knowledge of business processes and industry best practices .
• Experience with business analysis methodologies and tools .
• Strong understanding of IT systems and technologies .
• Experience with project management methodologies .
Ability to lead and mentor junior business analysts .
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools .
