Class 5 Route Driver with Air Brakes at Daniels Health – Kelowna, British Columbia

We're actively seeking reliable, full-time, permanent Driver based in Kelowna, British Columbia.

Responsibilities:

• Competently performs pre-trip and post-trips inspections with the intent of identifying and communicating minor and major defects to the Transportation Supervisor, and also completes daily driver log book using HOS application on mobile device.
• Loads and unloads truck by placing and securing items in such a manner that prevents damage to the products and truck, regular lifting will be require.
• Local and out of town routes.
• Working 5 days/week (approx. 45-55 hours depending on the route)
• Ensuring all materials are properly packaged, and orders are fully complete and in accordance with the packing slip prior to trip departure.
• Deliver and collect products/waste containers in accordance with scheduled route and serves customers by understanding, resolving and/or forwarding customer questions.
• Diligently completes Daniels' commercial vehicle cleaning and disinfecting protocol on a daily basis.
• Accurately records information on packing slip and manifest, ensuring compliance with TDG Regulations.
• Complies with all environmental & health and safety policies and procedures.
