The Senior Director of Financial Solutions will lead and scale the financial services delivery organization, ensuring operational excellence, consistent client outcomes, and high-performing teams. This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership across Accounting, Onboarding, and Tax service lines, translating organizational strategy into scalable execution. The position emphasizes people development, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement of processes and performance metrics. The leader will drive operational efficiency, enhance client satisfaction, and implement standardized approaches across a multi-department, remote-friendly environment. This role is ideal for an experienced executive who thrives in dynamic settings, balancing strategic vision with operational accountability and team mentorship.
- Lead day-to-day operations across all Financial Solutions service lines, including Outsourced Accounting, Onboarding, and Tax, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery.
- Translate strategy into clear operational plans, workflows, and measurable performance expectations.
- Drive standardization, process improvement, and operational efficiency across teams, removing bottlenecks and scaling service delivery.
- Establish and monitor KPIs and operational metrics to track client satisfaction, retention, utilization, and service quality.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and HR to align resources, budgets, and capacity with business needs.
- Lead and develop Directors and their teams, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous development.
- Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and frontline delivery teams, maintaining effective communication and operational alignment.
- 10–15+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial services, or professional services.
- 7–10+ years of experience leading managers of managers within multi-functional service delivery teams.
- Proven ability to operate and scale multi-department organizations with accountability for performance, efficiency, and client outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in process improvement, system implementation, or organizational change initiatives.
- Strong business acumen with expertise in capacity planning, resource allocation, and cost management.
- Data-driven approach to decision-making using KPIs, operational metrics, and client feedback.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills across remote and distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree required; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
- Ability to work within Central or Eastern Time zones, with flexibility for virtual and occasional in-person engagements.
