Position SummaryThe Traffic Control Technician performs full-scope traffic control operations in compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
Applicants will be considered based on the below groups:
GROUP 1 All applicants for employment who are residents of the geographical area constituting the normal construction labor market. In addition, the applicants have completed the Traffic Control Certification Program, have 12 months / 2,000 hours experience as a Traffic Technician Trainee 2, and completed all required training or have worked twelve (12) months at the Traffic Control Technician classification.
GROUP II All applicants for employment who have two or more years' experience in the trade and have passed a Traffic Control apprenticeship program or been certified as a Joumey-Level Traftic Control Technician.

- Direct and manage traffic
- Set up and oversee traffic control plans
- Supervise trainees and helpers
Training & Certification Requirements- Traffic Control Technician certification
Experience Requirements- Minimum of two (2) years of traffic control experience or completion of certification program
