This role is designed for a strategic and hands-on data science leader who will transform how talent insights drive business outcomes. The Senior Data Scientist will partner with People and business teams to answer high-impact questions, design scalable analytics solutions, and leverage AI to enhance decision-making across the employee lifecycle. You will develop and maintain data pipelines, build dashboards, and deliver actionable insights that influence talent strategy and organizational performance. This position provides exposure to senior leaders, offers opportunities to shape People Analytics practices, and requires balancing technical execution with strategic advisory. The role is remote-friendly and encourages creative problem-solving in a collaborative environment.
- Partner with People teams and business leaders to identify key talent questions and define success metrics
- Build, maintain, and optimize People data pipelines, models, and data warehouses in collaboration with Data Engineering
- Develop scalable analytics products, AI-enabled tools, and Tableau dashboards to inform decision-making
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and business-relevant stories
- Lead initiatives across Recruiting, Talent Management, DEIB, and other People domains
- Promote a data-informed culture across the People Team and broader organization
Requirements:
- BA/BS in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, or Psychology
- 4+ years of experience in data science, including at least 1 year in People Analytics
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Tableau; experience with R, Python, or similar programming/statistical languages
- Experience managing data pipelines, data warehousing, and building scalable analytics products
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying insights to senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated with strong project management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
