You will play a vital role in the site preparation process by operating heavy milling machinery to remove asphalt and concrete surfaces. This position offers the chance to work on high-profile commercial projects where your technical skill directly impacts the quality of the final paved surface. You will join a focused field team that values efficiency and precision in every pass.

• Operate milling machines to remove pavement surfaces to specified depths and grades.

• Monitor equipment performance and fluid levels to ensure consistent uptime on the job site.

• Coordinate with truck drivers to manage the seamless loading and hauling of milled tailings.

• Execute precise cuts around manholes, curbs, and other sensitive utility structures.

• Communicate effectively with the ground crew to maintain a safe and productive work zone.

• Maintain a clean and organized machine to prevent mechanical failure and ensure safety.

• Experience operating cold planers or asphalt milling machines.

• Proven ability to interpret grade stakes and follow specific project depth requirements.

• Strong understanding of heavy equipment safety protocols and job site hazards.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor field environment on a temporary project basis.

• Previous experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial paving crews.

• Familiarity with various milling drum widths and specialized cutting teeth configurations.

• Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor field adjustments or troubleshooting.
