Job Description:

GDIT is seeking an Integration Architect to provide support on our Defense Enterprise Office Solution (DEOS) Cloud Service Offering contract. As an Integration Architect you will perform administrative support for on-premises datacenter and cloud deployed services.

The Integration Architect will serve as technology expert and provide guidance to junior team members. The Integration Architect will oversee the design, documentation, implementation and management of highly available and secure IT services.

This position is full-time remote with reimbursable travel to customer site(s).


MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:


  • Provide reviews and compliance assessments on the cybersecurity posture of on prem and future cloud infrastructure and server configurations and implementation of configurations.
  • Review of system designs, installations, and configurations for any cybersecurity impacts.
  • Plan technical activities to implement complex solutions, including design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing.
  • Apply expert-level subject-matter-expertise to Information Assurance and security hardening requirements.
  • Ensures the integration of cybersecurity into, and throughout the lifecycle of the IT, on behalf of the AO and in accordance with DoW 8510.01.
  • Supports the PM or ISO in maintaining current authorization to operate, and approval to connect (if required), and in implementing corrective actions identified in the plan of action and milestones.
  • Implement automation to harden program assets using methods such as Active Directory (AD) Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Department of War (DoW) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG's), and vulnerability remediation.
  • ork with IS Security Officers (ISSOs) to continuously monitor the IT and environment for security-relevant events, assess proposed configuration changes for potential impact to the cybersecurity posture, and assess the quality of security controls implementation against performance indicators.
  • Ensures cybersecurity-related events or configuration changes that impact IT authorization or adversely impact the security posture are formally reported to the AO and other affected parties, such as IOs and stewards and AOs of interconnected IT.
  • Ensure all ISSOs and privileged users receive necessary technical training and obtain cybersecurity certification IAW AFMAN 17-1301, Computer Security (COMPUSEC), AFMAN 17-1303 and maintain proper clearances IAW DoW 8500.01.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the latest developments in cybersecurity, Zero Trust and Sec/Dev/Ops as it aligns to rapidly changing technology, research and make recommendations on required/desired advancements in the field, and work with management to evolve existing processes.
  • Designs architectures to include the software, hardware, and communications to support present technical specifications, while ensuring relevance, functionality, and adaptability for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
  • Troubleshoots hardware, network, storage, virtualization, software and application issues to identify bottleneck in operations and provides recommendations to ensure optimum performance and continuity of critical systems.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required):

Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience required.

Clearance: Active Secret security clearance required.

Certifications: Current Security+ CE, CEH, CISSP.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with automation platforms and designing solutions to run at scale.
  • Experience in Cloud support environments.
  • Experience designing and implementing cloud resources, database services, auto scaling, and automation to meet customers' requirements.
  • Experience with PowerShell Modules.
  • Expertise in implementing hybrid architectures, ideally for DoW customers.

The likely salary range for this position is $165,750 - $224,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
