Fitness/Spa Attendant

We are looking for a candidate who works well independently and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Making eye contact and being welcoming are essential. The pay for this part-time position is $17 per hour. Certified trainer is a plus. Can train clients on fitness shift. Thursday and Friday 3pm-9pm, Sunday 8am-3pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates and promotes a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our clients.
  • Ensures the "5 Diamond Experience" by maintaining the standards set in the NFC Amenity Management Mission Statement.
  • Perform a facility walk-through every 15 minutes to ensure all equipment is in working order and the area is orderly.
  • Completes daily shift reports and any other mandatory reports.
  • Responsible for a thorough understanding and effective performance of NFC Management Software.
  • Maintain and organize the work area.
  • Responds to all requests and follows through to assure satisfactory outcome.
  • Offers client assistance whenever possible.
  • Complies with all safety and security policies set by NFC Amenity Management.
  • Involves cross-training in other areas of operations.
  • Book all spa and personal training appointments promptly.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests using NFC-approved terminology.
  • Open and close the fitness center facility at the beginning and end of operating hours.
  • Maintain general cleanliness of the exercise areas, fitness equipment, spa, and locker rooms.
  • Abides by NFC grooming standards.
  • Gracefully enforces rules and regulations.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Must have an outgoing personality.
  • Must be hospitality-driven and offer any necessary assistance to clients and guests.
  • Must be able to adhere to a work schedule by arriving on time and wearing the proper uniform.
  • Must possess the ability to multitask.
  • Must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) & Internet.
  • Professional phone skills.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
  • Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
  • Effective communication skills and engaging positively with clients.

At the time of this ad, the position pays $17. Historically, it pays $16 to $17 per hour.
