Remote QA Automation Lead

In this role, you will join a dedicated team working on a significant financial account. Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute automated tests using Java for software quality assurance.
  • Utilize Kafka for message integration and validation in distributed systems.
  • Implement and validate APIs using tools like Rest Assured.
  • Automate end-to-end testing through Cypress or Selenium.
  • Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
  • Integrate automated testing with continuous delivery processes.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices for scalable and efficient test automation.
Requirements
  • Solid experience with Java, focusing on writing and executing automated tests.
  • Advanced knowledge of Kafka for integration and message validation.
  • Experience with API testing tools, particularly Rest Assured for RESTful API validation.
  • Familiarity with Cypress or Selenium for UI and integration testing automation.
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as jUnit or TestNG.
  • Practical experience with GitLab for code versioning and CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Ability to design and manage pipelines integrating test automation.
  • Understanding of REST and SOAP web service concepts.
