IT Support Associate

JMG Financial Group Ltd. is one of the largest independently owned fee-based wealth management firms in the Chicago area. JMG provides wealth management services to corporate executives and high net worth individuals. Investment News recently announced JMG as Best Places to Work for Financial Advisors for 2021-2025.

JMG is in search of a full-time IT Support Associate. This individual serves as a primary technical resource for staff. This role provides hands-on support for hardware, software, networking, mobile devices, telephony, user onboarding, and internal systems.

The duties of this role would include, but are not limited to, the following:

Provide technical Support & Troubleshooting
Act as the first point of contact for internal and external technical support requests
Manage user accounts and permissions across network systems.
Diagnose and resolve issues with PCs, laptops, printers, and peripheral hardware
Provide support for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Server, antivirus solutions, and other applications
Monitor system alerts and event logs, reporting anomalies as needed
Install, upgrade, relocate, repair, and modify IT equipment
Maintain knowledge of operating systems and applications to provide effective support
Provide mobile device support including configuration and migration
Complete special projects as assigned
Attend meetings and promptly respond to internal requests
Ensure compliance with company and SEC guidelines

Any experience and basic knowledge with hardware, software & network administration is an advantage. The ideal candidate is highly skilled with troubleshooting, attentive to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent mix of related coursework and experience

Compensation: Non-Exempt position, eligible for overtime, bonuses and full benefits including health, dental, vision, life, long-term disability and 401(k).
