Job Summary

Operates conventional, fluoroscopic, or portable radiology equipment to obtain clinical diagnostic images as directed by physicians. Able to perform CT exams as ordered by a physician. Performs routine diagnostic radiology procedures according to established standards and practices. Positions patients and adjusts x-ray equipment to obtain correct exposures. May perform other administrative and clinical duties as necessary for the needs of the department and/or organization.

Minimum Education/License/Certification Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology.
• ARRT board certified.
• Indiana State Board licensed.
• Must be CPR certified.
• ARRT registered in at least one modality is preferred.
• Willing to work additional hours when requested by Director of Imaging; available for callback on scheduled weekends/weekdays.
• Competent with CT and general radiography exams.
• Willing to assist the Director of Imaging Services with various tasks.
• Works with the radiologist and Director of Imaging Services to ensure proper radiology protocols are being followed.
• Keeps current with the latest technological advancements in radiology.
• One year of supervisory or leadership experience or education is preferred.
