Histology Assistant in Warner Robins, Georgia at Houston Healthcare

The Histology Assistant performs laboratory procedures in histology and cytology. The Assistant prepares tissue and body fluid specimens for examination by the Pathologist.

High School graduate or GED equivalent required Moderate knowledge of medical terminology. Utilizes various laboratory instruments and equipment according to manufacturer's instructions and departmental policy and procedure. Utilizes standard office equipment.

Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
