Charge RN, PACU at South County Hospital – Wakefield, Rhode Island

Job Summary:

Clinical operating room expert who demonstrates the essence of professional nursing while in the front line of patient care through role modeling and clinical leadership. Supports the needs of the professional nurse and the ancillary staff, while supporting and encouraging collaboration and camaraderie. Oversees daily Pre op, PACU and SDS processes and coordinates the delivery of care provided by professional nursing staff and support staff including the Operating Room. Develops, coordinates and delegates work assignments to achieve desired results. Acts as a resource to advance patient care outcomes. Willing to take a patient assignment when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school or college of nursing baccalaureate degree preferred
• 2 years in current specialty setting
• BLS from American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience required

Must be flexible with days and hours to best suit the needs of the department
