About the role

This is an Exterior Door Fabricator position! Bring your passion, be curious, and be ready to CHANGE a lot. Here are the details. The Exterior Door Fabricator is responsible for building exterior doors in the assembly areas. This role involves assembly of standard and specialty exterior doors, and maintaining peak performance of key machinery, specifically the 484 assembly line area.

• Keep a positive WINNING ATTITUDE on good AND challenging days
• Operation and output of the 484 door assembly line, ensuring maximum efficiency, minimal downtime, and commitment to production schedule.
• Have the ability to maneuver 50-100 lbs repeatedly throughout the day without help.
• Ensure complex, non-standard, and custom door units are assembled accurately and meet specific order requirements.
• Basic math and measuring skills to ensure accuracy in fabrication.
• Ability to stand, bend, and stretch for extended periods of time.
• Be able to critically think and communicate effectively one-on-one and with large groups.
• Flexibility to work in all areas of production and go the extra mile to meet the needs of the builder.
• Monitor production workflow, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and ensure the timely completion of all scheduled exterior door units.
