About This Position
The Driver Assistant works closely with the Driver and project team to support the safe and efficient transportation, delivery, packing, and installation of high-end furniture and artwork. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients while maintaining company standards for care and professionalism.

Support packing, wrapping, and installation of furniture and artwork in accordance with company standards.
Follow directions from the Driver or Project Coordinator on job sites.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks, tools, kits, and materials.
Participate in the documentation process (e.g., tagging, inventory, labeling).
Help conduct condition reports, take photographs, and track items as directed.
Learn and apply proper handling techniques for high-value, fragile, and irreplaceable items.
Be proactive in damage prevention during transportation and installation.
Follow safety procedures and company protocols at all times.
Exhibit professional and respectful behavior with clients, team members, and vendors.
Report any incidents, damages, or client concerns to the Driver or Project Coordinator immediately.
Support setup and breakdown of job sites, including tools and equipment.
Attend training sessions and participate in team meetings as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–2 years of relevant experience in moving, packing, delivery, or customer service is a plus.
Experience handling furniture or artwork is beneficial but not required—training provided.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Good communication skills with team members and clients.
Basic math understanding for inventory, measurements, and packing needs.
Valid Texas ID or driver’s license preferred (not required to drive but may be beneficial).
Must be able to stand, walk, crouch, lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 75–100 lbs.
Requires dexterity in hands and arms to use tools and equipment.
Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying environments.
Exposure to moving equipment, tools, and occasional loud noise.
May be exposed to traffic and weather conditions during transport and job site work.
Job sites include private residences, commercial buildings, galleries, and storage facilities.
Typically 40 hours per week.
Work hours generally fall between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM based on project needs.
May include occasional overtime, weekends, and travel.
