This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, consulting, and client delivery, supporting complex enterprise transformations across cloud-based data platforms. You will work on high-impact projects involving data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modern data architecture, primarily leveraging Databricks and major cloud ecosystems. The position is highly client-facing, requiring strong technical expertise paired with the ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions. You will contribute to end-to-end project delivery, from design through implementation, often taking ownership of individual workstreams. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and focused on innovation in data and AI. In this role, you will contribute to the successful delivery of client data engineering engagements by combining hands-on technical execution with consulting responsibilities, including:

• Designing and implementing complex ETL/ELT pipelines, improving data processing efficiency and scalability across enterprise systems.
• Leading or supporting data warehousing initiatives, including performance optimization and solution design under the guidance of engagement leads.
• Building and managing data integrations and real-time or streaming data solutions using modern cloud platforms.
• Working with SAP data structures (including S/4HANA and SAP HANA), interpreting data in relation to underlying business processes.
• Supporting solution architecture discussions and contributing to project planning and technical design decisions.
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines, version control strategies, and branching models for reliable deployment workflows.
• Ensuring data security, governance, and compliance requirements are embedded into engineering solutions.
• Collaborating directly with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, business-aligned data solutions.

This position requires strong hands-on data engineering experience combined with client-facing consulting capabilities:

• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, big data, or related fields, including at least 2 years in client-facing roles.
• Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts and practical experience building pipelines using Databricks.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, database design, and version control systems.
• Experience working with SAP data environments, including SAP S/4HANA or SAP HANA.
• Ability to interpret complex data structures and connect them to business processes.
• Proficiency in designing scalable ETL/ELT and cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, or similar).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to work independently while contributing to collaborative, team-based delivery environments.
