Senior ServiceNow Project Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior ServiceNow Project Manager in India.

This role is responsible for leading and delivering complex, high-visibility ServiceNow-related projects across enterprise environments. You will act as the central point of coordination for multiple project streams, ensuring alignment between technical teams, stakeholders, and client objectives. The position combines strong project governance with Agile leadership, requiring the ability to guide teams, remove impediments, and maintain delivery momentum. You will work closely with executive stakeholders, managing expectations while ensuring quality, scope, and timelines are consistently met. The environment is fast-paced, client-facing, and highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on service delivery excellence. This role also involves coaching teams on Agile maturity and fostering self-organization. It is an opportunity to lead strategic initiatives that directly impact enterprise transformation programs.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will manage end-to-end delivery of complex ServiceNow projects while ensuring alignment across teams, stakeholders, and business objectives.

  • Lead and manage multiple technical projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget
  • Act as the primary point of coordination for project execution across teams and stakeholders
  • Guide Agile/Scrum practices, supporting teams in self-organization and continuous improvement
  • Remove project impediments and facilitate resolution of technical or organizational blockers
  • Facilitate communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution across teams and clients
  • Oversee project planning, including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication of project goals and progress
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless delivery
  • Track project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies when needed
  • Conduct project closure activities, including documentation, reviews, and lessons learned
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency
  • Maintain project data and reporting using enterprise tools such as Salesforce and related systems
Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced project management professional with strong expertise in ServiceNow environments, Agile delivery, and enterprise IT project execution.

  • PMP certification is required
  • Strong experience managing medium to high complexity, high-visibility IT projects
  • Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and project management best practices (PMBOK)
  • Proven ability to manage project scope, budgets, timelines, and delivery quality
  • Experience working with ServiceNow or enterprise IT service management platforms is highly preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and drive accountability
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience working with executive-level stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict management, and decision-making abilities
  • Experience using project management tools and enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, FinancialForce)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Skilled in negotiation and stakeholder alignment across diverse viewpoints
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and delivery discipline
