Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native, and Quantum Physics to solve our customers’ missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar, and everything in between.

As an Advanced Systems Administration Specialist with expertise in both Linux and Windows environments, you’ll serve as a front-line interface to users with technical issues, conducting systems analysis and development to keep systems current with evolving technologies. Your responsibilities will include installing new software, troubleshooting, granting permissions to applications, and training users. You’ll also be responsible for the day-to-day support of server services by performing administration for physical and virtual Linux and Windows server operating systems. This includes configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting physical and virtual hardware and network-related interfaces on servers. Additionally, you’ll perform OS and vendor software patching on servers and monitor server performance using monitoring tools.

What you bring to the table:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience
  • Broad understanding of the interrelationships within the IT environment with a focus on servers and services
  • Advanced understanding of both Linux and Windows server-based operating systems
  • Enhanced troubleshooting skills within Linux and Windows server OS as well as both networking and storage technologies
Linux Expertise:
  • Experience with deploying and maintaining RedHat Linux/Ubuntu/Server environments
  • Experience with implementing Linux security controls to maintain system compliance
  • Experience installing, configuring, and writing Ansible playbooks for automation supporting infrastructure production and development environments
  • Experience managing virtual machines with VMware vSphere and related technologies
Windows Expertise:
  • Experience deploying and maintaining Windows Client/Server environments
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows-based user management
  • Experience with Windows patching and compliance tools
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting to automate repetitive processes
Additional Skills:
  • Experience with Network Administration
  • Experience with Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices
  • Familiarity with development and engineering tools such as Gitlab, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Familiarity with compliance controls: STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides), RMF (Risk Management Framework), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), NIST SP 800-171, Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)

Combined Salary Range

USD $101,357.00 - USD $109,672.00 /Yr.
